– Week 2
My reflection after i red about the
material of 2nd week that no longer are students’ experiences with new
languages limited to their textbooks or immediate environment. With the
pervasiveness of the internet and the increased awareness of the importance of
having technology in a classroom, both teachers and students all over the world
are being provided with technological tools that will further accelerate their
ability to acquire or teach a second or foreign language. Technology
integration in the classroom has become an important aspect of successful
teaching. It has triggered many researchers to investigate different aspects of
such integration. In addition, it could be an effective teaching tool when used
to engage all students in the learning process.

As we know, nowadays everyone
depends on life in social devices which are portable and easy hand-carry to almost
everywhere we go. This not only would teach the students creative thinking but
also make the teaching way more interesting than just teacher-students
technique of teaching in the classroom. Furthermore, there are many advantages
from the MALL, CALL and LMS that could
be required by the students which are for; mobility & accessibility,
affordability & availability, flexibility in learning, interactivity with
surrounding, authenticity of the material, and awareness of current situations.
So, with this material i hope that i could be a teacher with a good skill in
technology.

We are from group 2 (Shofia,
Rahmadita, Jihan, Yunita, Elma, Anita) will share about what we got and learnt
from journal last week. The impact of using Technology for learning for develop
listening comprehension, enrich our vocabulary, improve about grammar and the
structure, increase skill to use any application such as visual/video, sound,
graphic and animation. From there, student can take advantages and benefits of
the technology that uses for study English Language Learning. Thank you.

Last meeting, i have learned about ACO application for
learning english. It is possible to master fluent English by taking interactive
lessons. When i learnt English with this app,
i will be able to learn accents very efficiently. Content can be translated from English into
other languages. Translated content will be reviewed by experts. In addition
the application is designed for everyday english conversations. But even
so, this app has some deficiency. It is still requires internet connection in
its use. Also less effective for young learner.

What i've catch from British
Council that have presented by Acep's group is this website such an amazing
core about listening skill, the more we realize the little things that missed
the impact can be very big in educating, many valuable lessons on how to
educate there by telling stories and interacting with students. Help students
have fun and immerse them in English from kindergarten, Primary, Secondary,
Adults, Corporate training and also equipped with how to register for our
courses. Also this website is easy to use, although it's need internet
connection.

Assalamu'alaikum, I would like to
explain to you about my reflection of Pre-Gre Reading Comprehension app. This
app no need to buy expensive books or pay for overpriced classes, with Prep-GRE
we can learn the essentials of reading comprehension, practice with many
questions, take tests, review our performance and learn more about our
strengths and weaknesses.
On top of that, the app is free,
has no ads and works offline so that nothing can come between you and our GRE®
preparation. We can access all the features of the app anywhere at anytime and
study on our schedule.
This app will help us build our
verbal, math and quantitative skills crucial for the Prep-GRE® exam.

Hello everyone, i would like to
share my reflection about Jotterpad.

Interface - The app is beautiful, with
light colors, and an overall sleek and modern look.
·
Usefulness - For people looking to
quickly write things down, or to type out longer pieces in a distraction-free
environment, this fits the bill.
·
Because Jotterpad is just a plain text
editor, i think it's unsuitable for teaching writing. Thank you.
