Week 2: Concept
of Educational Technology in EFL Classroom
Nowadays, wwe live in 21st century which is
means the technology has grouw up and envolving. Rhis reflection talk about
technology baed on books that the lecturer gave. Technology become an importan
element of our live. All things in this world used technology: Education, shopping, communicating etc. Technology isn’t just machine but more than
it. Technology is something that could help us easier to do thing without other
help. Technology is really helpful for our life. In fact, technology ceated is
for satisfy human itself. Thtas why technology
should bbe helpful. Out of negative things caused by it, technology has
a lot of positive things. In case for education, technology help students and
teacher to learn together even they didn’t meet. By technology, teacher could
teach material clearly. Based on the book, Firstly i read history of technology
than read the meaning of it. It teach me that I should know waht for technology
is created. So I woun’t used tecchnology in wrong way. We can see technology
from years to years is upgrading. So we could develop our skill in using
technology. I think in the future technology will be more sophispicated.

Week 3 :
CALL and MALL
Here, I’d like to share what I get from the
materials. This is one kind of technology that has been changes. CALL, MALL.
The function itself to help teaching learning process more effective. Simple
and easier. Using technology for education is really grateful and helpful. We
could share or deliver the material directly. We could search what we need at
that time. With call and mall education envolves faster like this. Learning
language using this technology more effctive and lot of advantages that
disadvantages itself. But in my opinion, technology create a lazy person.
Beacuse it makes everything easy. Example : plagiarism. Moreover, still a lt of
disadvantages using this technology. One of them is real world.

Week 4:
Impacts of Educational Technologies
We are from
group 4 will share about our result discussion about last meeting based on
journal given by Mrs. @va.bona.santiana.
As we know that technology plays an important
role in today’s human society development. Technology and English language
education are related to each other (Singhal, 1997). It means we should use
technology in language learning process. We can use any different approaches
and techniques which can assist English language students to improve their
learning skills. Such as for listening we can use computer as education tools,
listen to tv, cd players or tape recorder. And for reading we can use computer,
use any multimedia software, and so on. For speaking we can use internet voice
chatting and for writing we can use internet text chatting or writing email. So
many various of technology and application that support us to be used for
education. For doing such tasks, they are in need of using various tools which
can help them learn the language easily and effectively. Thank youu :)

Technology for Teaching Vocabulary
I am Sorry, I didn’t came to the class this
week. But what I got from my friend, we should improve our skill using
technology. More than it, we should critic choosing a technology or application
we wanted to use that related to our study. Appropriate to age of children that
we teach. Thats what I got Thank you.

I didn’t make a reflection for this week. Because the reflection
should be on instagram and i dont know how to upload it. I mean should i comment
on bu Eva’s instagram or just on my own and send the link or tag. So I lose it.

Technology for Teaching Listening

website to learn listening skills. We can choose the materials depend on our
level. Maybe for some reason and peop;e it is not suitable for teaching because
it is just kind of test. But I think this web can used for teaching. Depend on
how we create and organized the method in teaching itself. I reeally enjoy this
aplication and the greatest presentation I ever seen in this class.

Technology for Teaching Speaking

for Teaching Reading
Last Meeting, my group presented one of the
aplication for teaching reading. Its called “Pre-GRE Test”. I think it is one
of the best aplication because easy and simple to use. Moreover, this
aplication is really helpful. We could knowabout how fluent we are in reading.

11.Technology
for Teaching Writing
Last meeting the group 7 presented Jottepard.
I think it is not good aplication and couldn’t be as aplication for teaching
writing. Because the aplication seems like just an aplication to make a
document such as novel, poetry etc. The aplication for teaching writing should
be the aplication that can support writing material in english. I mean material
like how to write essay, thesis etc.
