What I’ve learnt after read the material is technology is a
planned and systematic method that refers to a valid and reliable process or
procedure derived from basic research using a scientific method. Technology is
inseparable from instructional technology which in turn is part of educational
technology, where the technology is not only used as a media or social tool in
a virtual way but we can also use this technology as a medium of learning to
facilitate the process of teaching and learning system. With the rapid
development of technology we should be able to utilize this technology as well
as possible, because if we use this technology in a good way this technology
will give a good impact for us.
Week 3
MALL AND CALL
What I’ve learnt CALL
and MALL is a tools to help our learning system more easly where we use
computer as our tool to learning it called CALL and we use mobile as our tool
for our learning it called MALL where both of them have their respective
advantages. Despite the fact if we use mobile as our learning tool it’s more
effective and more easy because we can bring our mobile anywhere but better
CALL and MALL both very helpful in the process of teaching and learning system.
Week 4
Impacts of Educational Technologies
We are from group 2
(Shofia, Rahmadita, Jihan, Yunita, Elma, Anita) will share about what we got
and learnt from journal last week. The impact of using technology for learning
for develop listening comprehension, enrich vocabulary, improve about grammar
and the structure, increase skill to use any application such as visual/video,
sound, graphic and animation. From there the student can take the advantages
and the benefits of the technology that uses for study English Language
Learning.
Week 5
Technology for Teaching Vocabulary
What I’ve got from the
last meeting that we talked about the application to increase our vocabulary is
ACO where that application is good application to help us learn vocabulary
beside that we can increase our listening skill and pronounciation. The
application is good for us as a student but unfortunately the application is
not appropriate for young learner because the content is too hard and not color
full. We have to choose the good app for help and support our learning and ACO
is one of the good app.

I would like to
share my reflection from my group about the application for grammar it called
MARBEL (Mari Belajar) Grammar. This application is free and this application
have many material about grammar. Actually this application is really good for
us to help us learn about grammar but this application is not suitable for
teaching because this application is not really interesting,this application
only serve the material so it will make the students bored.

First I’m so sorry
because last meeting I didn’t come to the class because I came late more than
25 minute to the campus, I’m so sorry for that, but here I would like o share
my reflection that what I got from my friends about the website that can be
used for teaching listening named British Council. What I got here is that the
website is pretty good to teach listening, in this website there are some level
that we can choose randomly, this website is also good for junior and senior
high school. But unfortunately we need internet connection to open this
website, so we have a good internet if we want acces this website and this
website actually more suitable for testing listening. That’s what I got from
this reflection.

Last meeting group 4
was already presented about the application for reading that is called
Prep-GRE® test, this application is good for us to practice in reading
especially for senior high school, this application have many features like
passages, practice, timer reminder. With this application we can know how speed
we are in reading because this application is provides timer to measure our
speed in reading and this application is free. Unfortunately this application
is not colourfull and no picture.
Week 12
Technology for Teaching Writing
I would like to share
my reflection from the last meeting that the last group presented the
application for writing named Jotterpad, this application is same with Ms.Word
but in this application there are features to make a poetry, song lyrics, and
also short story. Actually I’m not really interested with this application
because the tools and the features of this application is same with Ms.Word and
the appearance from this application is not really good.
