ALL REFLECTION TELL 2017
1.
Week 2 - Educational Technology (Line)
What I've learnt here is educational technology is all
the ways people use their invention to satisfy their education needs and desires.
It's take a part of our life, consist of design and our environments that engage
learner. Based on the history of technology, that scientists are always trying to
develop their ideas to make a better technology until now. So, all of this is not
about the product, but about the process. How we can use technology as media to
make us get more knowledge, and be critical in all aspect. We have to use technology
in the good ways. Practice about educational methods, analyze, get solution and
solve problems in human learning and you will get good impact for your life. And
also stop wasting your time use technology to do something not important.
2.
Week 3 - CALL MALL (WhatsApp)
As we know, that most of people use computer and
mobile digital in their activities. CALL, MALL and LMS are kind of technology
for help in teaching-learning process to make students are more interested and
motivated. To make students have good behavior in use technology.
We have to be criticized, because technology make
everything look easy and very flexible make students are very
individualized. We have to make students
are aware of social life. How important to have collaboration with others.
Many advantages if we want to improve our
understanding and skills about technology.
3. Week 4 – Journal (Instagram)
We are from group 4 will share about our result
discussion about last meeting.
As we know that technology plays an important role
in today’s human society development. Technology and English language education
are related to each other (Singhal, 1997). It means we should use technology in
language learning process. We can use any different approaches and techniques
which can assist English language students to improve their learning skills.
Such as for listening we can use computer as education tools, listen to tv, cd
players or tape recorder. And for reading we can use computer, use any multimedia
software, and so on. For speaking we can use internet voice chatting and for
writing we can use internet text chatting or writing email. So many various of
technology and application that support us to be used for education. For doing
such tasks, they are in need of using various tools which can help them learn
the language easily and effectively.

Week 5 – Vocabulary (Whatsapp)
I'm sorry because I didn't come to the last meeting,
so I didn't know about the presentation of group 1. But what I got here is many
application and educational tools that can help us to improve our language
skill. But we have to know the advantages and the weakness from the tools that
we use to teach and choose the tools that appropiate with the age of children.

I would like to share my reflection about MARBEL ( Mari Belajar Grammar) application. That is an application to learn grammar, the cover of that application is interested. But actually the content of that application is jut the material of grammar, and it's so bored. It's not appropriate to young learner, because there is no exercises or even like games to know how well the student's understanding about grammar.

7. Week 9 - Listening (Line)
Hi everyone! I would like to say sorry I didn't come
to the class last meeting because I'm late, but I try to know what is my friend
presented about, and here is my reflection. From what I search about the
website that my friend presented about, that can be used for teaching listening
named British council, it's pretty good website to use not only for teaching
listening, but also for writing, reading and speaking. It's so interested, and
also easy to access, because we just have to open the website, everywhere and
whenever without download the application. Although we have to always connect
with the internet, but I think it's really appropriate to use for listening
teaching learning.

Week 10 – Reading (Line)
Last meeting my group presented the application for
reading comprehension. I know the app is so boring, but that is the best app
for reading because most of reading applications are basically like that. But I
think if you like reading, you'll like this one because you can know the
duration of your reading, you will get some questions and this app provide the
reminder to remind you for reading. So let's start to love reading! 😄

I'm so sorry for the late reflection. What I've learnt
from the last presentation which is about application for writing, that to
improve our language skills is based on our wants, because there is not all of
tools can provide good features. Of course there are advantadges and
disadvantadges, like the application that group 7 use, that I think has the
similarities with ms. Word, so what is the differences that make us can improve
our writing skill? In that app we can choose wether we want to write novel,
poem, lyric, etc. but that app doesn't show us how to write a good novel or
something that can make our writing skill increase, that app just give the
technic to write, like the size and the right font.
