What I've learned from this topic, that technology has been assists us in many ways including
education. Not only in the form of machine but also pictures, paintings, drawings. Technology make
our work more easy and efficiently, also technology can facilities human to learn and improve their
skill by creating, managing, and using an appropiate technological resources.
When I read about this topic its remind me of my uncle. One day he asked me "from which generation are you? I was confused, what kind of generation? He told me about his experience
using technology. When he was still in high schooler he used typewriter to learn how to read and write but not everyone have it , because its little bit expensive. After that a lot of new things like calculator, computer, etc show up. It is really fascinating though. This is the fact that technology is grown fromtime to time until now.
So, as 21st teacher we should take advantages from technology to make a new ideas for teaching
and learning method that could be more efficient and effective

This is what I've learned about this topics.
MALL stands for Mobile-Assisted Language, it refers to a way of learning language through mobile
devices. For example , the smartphone that we used in our daily lifes. When we used it as device for
conduct informal learning through an application, it called MALL.
LMS stands for Learning Management System, it's refer to computer software or program. Anybody
who's doing e-learning is using an LMS. Also, we can create and organize the courses.
CALL stands for Computer Assisted Language, it's simillar as MALL but its uses computer as the tool.
The advantages are first, the access is easier we can do it anytime and anywhere, motivating studets
to learn more and it can help us to gather the materials.

In last metting I've learned about ACO application and we demonstrated it. We discussed about the
app weakness and strenghts. Unfortunately, I couldn't used it at that time because the internet
connection was really bad and my storage file was limited :') I just join my friend and helping her to solves it. I think its interesting eventhough there are some parts that still lacking and confusing. The graphic, pictures, and sound record its little bit dissapointed not all the feature is working smoothly (maybe it because of the connection?)
But so far I think we still can use it for teaching-learning process but we should consider that the app
its suitable for the students and appropiate.

In the last metting, group 5 was presenting their material related to learning listening through website
learningenglishteens.britishcouncil.org
This website contains variety topics and has each level from A1to C1, also provide chat/forums
disccusion. I think this website is really useful for learners but in certain circumtances, because when
we want to use it, we should have internet connection, the environtment must have a good
connection. As miss Eva said this website more suitable for testing learners ability rather than as
teaching material. Overall this website is appropiate and easy to use.

Week 11 Technology for Teaching Reading

Last week group 4 present their app called prep-Gre test for reading app. I think this app is quite
complicated,a lot of difficult words to read and doesn't has free pass to get more passages. But its still
useful because the reader can practice their reading speed through this app.
Week 12 Technology for Teaching Writing

Last week, 7th group presented about jotterpad application. It's an writing application like microsoft
word. This application provide the documents in several format and has autocorrect. Unfortunately,
this app can't help learner to practice their writing because this app didn't has feature to explain how
to write poem etc. Also this app has similarity to ms.word.
