Week 2: Concept
of Educational Technology in EFL Classroom
From what I've read about education
technology. Technology is useful for our
live. Every people always uses
technology in daily activities everywhere and every time. Technology to help us, more easier to solve us about something, for example to help us get the information
about news, articles, etc. Than,
I read the book from my lecture about history of the technology in
education, to be smarter using
technology to get information that will help us to knowing more about the
materials.
Technology also to support our teaching
learning process, such us when we are
using tv, projector, smartphone,
etc in the class. Beside that we
also knowing that, technology have many
negative effects. So, we must to be careful when using technology, because is very dangerous for our live when
we spend our using technology time by.

Week 3 :
CALL and MALL
CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning)
Levi (1997: 1) defines CALL more broadly as
"The search for and study of applications of the computer in language
teaching and learning". Computer
are as a tutor, as a tool, and also as a tutee in the classroom.
MALL (Mobile Assisted Language Learning)
Nowadays we always using smartphone in our
live. You can see people around you using smartphone. Smartphone is one of the
mobility of technology. But MALL also digital camera, GPS, and the other mobile. Mobile for
learning something more easily and more promptly access language learning
materials. According to Goldmedia mobile life report 2012 "77% of the
world's population own mobile phones",
that research has show me that mobile phone is favourite things of
human.
LMS(Learning Management System) ““LMS” is a
catchall term in SCORM. It refers to a suite of functionalities designed to
deliver, track, report on and manage learning content, learner progress and
learner interactions. “LMS” can apply to very simple course management systems,
or highly complex enterprise-wide, distributed environments.” (SCORM 2004
3rd Edition Overview Version 1.0)
We can learning more powerful about the
materials, because CALL, MALL, LMS can help us to search sources, articles,
and the others. But remember that Technology will help you to be positive
and also to be negative. So, be aware of
that.

Week 4:
Impacts of Educational Technologies
We are from group 4 will share about our
result discussion about last meeting based on journal given by Mrs.
@va.bona.santiana. As we know that technology plays an important role in
today’s human society development. Technology and English language education
are related to each other (Singhal, 1997). It means we should use technology in
language learning process. We can use any different approaches and techniques
which can assist English language students to improve their learning skills.
Such as for listening we can use computer as education tools, listen to tv, cd
players or tape recorder. And for reading we can use computer, use any
multimedia software, and so on. For speaking we can use internet voice chatting
and for writing we can use internet text chatting or writing email. So many
various of technology and application that support us to be used for education.
For doing such tasks, they are in need of using various tools which can help
them learn the language easily and effectively. Thank youu :)

Week 5:
Technology for Teaching Vocabulary
I've learnt about the application that will
help us to more easily when we want to learn english everywhere and
anytime. The application is Learning
with ECO. This application has many
benefits, there are to learn
vocabulary, speaking, listening and also translating. In the last
meeting we try to use this application,
for me its fun when use this application with the picture in there and
also this application can show me the explanation about the word in the
question. But the important is we must
have kuota, and also have signal on your
smartphone to use this application.

I didn’t make a reflection for this week. Because the reflection
should be on instagram and i dont know how to upload it. I mean should i comment
on bu Eva’s instagram or just on my own and send the link or tag. So I lose it.

I've learnt about the website
that will help us to more easily when we want to learn english everywhere and
anytime. The website is British council
. This website has many benefits, there are to learn vocabulary, speaking,
listening, grammar and reading skill practice . In the last meeting we
try to use this website especially in listening skill practice , for me its fun when use this website with the
videos in there and also this website can show us the correct answer when we
wrong. But the important is we must have kuota,
and also have signal on your computer or your smartphone to use this

Technology for Teaching Speaking
10. Week 11 : Technology
for Teaching Reading
Last meeting, my group presented on of the
application for teaching reading. Its called "Prep-GRE® test", I
think this application is really useful for students or everyone who want to
learn or improve reading skill. And I think this application's design is
elegant not colourful. So, it is
suitable for senior high school not for young learners.
In the last meeting we tried to use this
application, sometimes its so bored but it's really help us to improve our
reading skill with the passages in there and also this application could show
us about our progress and our score when we tried to practice with this
application.
11.Week 12 : Technology
for Teaching Writing
I've learnt about application that will help
us to more easily when we want to learn English especially in writing
skill. The application is JotterPad 7.
it is perfect for writing books, novels,
lyrics, poems, essays,
drafts, and screensplays. In the
last meeting we tried to use this application,
for me it seems like for what we want to write, you can use this application. But I think its not for teaching writing.

I used english listenig speaking application for my last project called micro teaching and I teach college students.
