Week 2 September,
01, 2017 Concept of Educational
Technology in EFL Classroom
What I have learned
from the materials in 2nd week meeting about technology, technology is
coming from greek word technically which means craft or art. Since 40,000 DC of technology has been very
much in use, but the use of technology today is different from the technology
of the previous era that uses the media images and paintings. Technology exists
that intruksional, and Technology is everywhere, be present in almost every
part of our lives, Like in the world of
education, so, many function of
technology in education as social medium to support bb learning by conversing
and one of the model to reflecting by the teacher with the student.
Week 3 September,
03,2017 MALL AND CALL
CALL, MALL, and
LMS are kinds of technology that used to learning process, Differences from CALL, MALL, and LMS
▶CALL (Computer Assisted
Language Learning) In a study, computers
were the main tools to make it easier to apply teaching and learning. But, the
technology for learning gets easier with the Mall
▶MALL (Mobile Assisted
Language Learning) In this method as the main tool of learning is mobile, which
almost everyone has, so we can access knowledge whenever and wherever.
▶LMS (learning management
system) software applications for administration, documentation, tracking,
reporting and delivery of educational courses or training programs, focusing on
the delivery of online learning and They help instructors deliver materials to
students, provide tests and other tasks, track student progress, and manage
records.
Week 4 september, 8,
2017 Impacts of Educational Technologies
We are from group 2 (Shofia, Rahmadita, Jihan, Yunita, Elma,
Anita)
We will share about what we got and learn from journal last
week. The impact of using technology for learning for develop listening
comprehension, enrich vocabulary, improve about grammar, and the structure,
increase skill to use any application such us visual or video, sound, graphic
animation. From the student can take advantages and benefits of the technology
that uses for study English language learning.
Week 5 September, 17 , 2017 Technology for Teaching Vocabulary
In last meeting, the
1st group presented about ACO application. I think ACO that is application was
good for learning english because the features not only about vocabulary but
also listening, speaking, and translating that can help us to improve our
skill. But There is a disadvantages and
advantages, disadvantages application is need internet connection, and
advantages application is add the new vocabulary.

6 September, 28, 2017 Technology
for Teaching Pronunciation
With this English
Pronunciation Training application, you will learn some important topics about
speaking English properly such as:
- Short vowels
- Long vowels
- Double vowel sounds
- Voiced consonants
- Voiceless
consonants
- Other consonants
- Mouth and tongue
positions when pronouncing sounds
- Voiced and unvoiced
sounds
Week 7 MARBEL
This application is good for
learning english,because it can help the young learner to learn grammar and
increase understanding about grammar,we can use this app anytime because this
app is free,and also give good example about grammar. But this application is
not interesting because only serve the material and it will make the learner
feel bored.

2017 Technology for Teaching Listening
i would like to share my reflection that what i got from my
friends, that' material is British council.
British council it is a good website can be used for teach, learn,
and improve student's listening skill.
Because the British Council offers a wide range of English learning
applications. Such as you can learn English through games, podcasts, movies,
and quizzes. This application is effective in improving English skills such as
in listening, grammar, vocabulary. And
British council have a little bit problem like us need internet connection. But
overall this website is very helpful for our study.
Week 10 November, 05 2017 Technology for Teaching
Speaking
i would to share my
reflection about voki.com, voki that is the website for learning Not only speaking, but there is reading, listening and so on, and i think the website appropriate for young
learners, and this website so many
features in there, and this website not
free, we must pay it, and overall i
think the website is a good enough for learning
Week 11 November, 05 2017 Technology for Teaching Reading
In the last meeting, I have learned about application
Prep-GRE. This application no need to buy expensive books or pay for overpriced
classes, with Prep-GRE, you can learn the essentials of reading comprehension,
practice thousand of questions and take tests. Beside that this application is
free, has no ads. But unfortunately, design this application make me bored,
because not colorful.
Week 12 Technology for Teaching Writing
Last meeting the group 7 presented jotterpad for Teaching
writing. The application seems like Mr.word,
but the difference this application provided some features to make a
novel, peotry etc. And i think the aplication is suitable for applying to
learn.
